Q: We have a few of these in our building, sometimes one of the them just turns on and off randomly for about a minute without someone close to it. Do you guys know anything or have heard of this happening before?

A: One of a couple of thing could be causing your faucet to turn on and off randomly. The sensor could be reflecting off of the sink, mirror or partition door. The sensor could also be scratched from a cleaning rag. If it is scratched the beam will reflect off of the lens causing it to run.
