A: By adjusting the sensor range, you can improve the timing of this ZEMS Flush Valve. Here are the simple steps to adjust the sensor: 1) Press & Hold the Override Button (The valve will flush one time) 2) Hold the button until the light turns solid 3) As soon as the light is solid, let go (The light will begin to blink) 4) Press & Hold the button again & let go (The light will begin to blink dimly) 5) Step back and hold a target into place about 10-12" in front of the toilet bowl for about 15-20 seconds. 6) Now your sensor range has been adjusted for better timing.
