Q: only getting hot water from mixing valve. took apart very little to it, cleaned out the particles in there. any idea why?

A: This Zurn P6900-TMV-1-XL Thermostatic Mixing Valve (Part #153830) requires both hot and cold water supply lines. Once the lines are connected, the water temperature can be adjusted between 95 and 115 Degrees Fahrenheit. To adjust the Temperature remove the top Green cover and use a combination wrench to rotate the screw (clockwise to decrease and counterclockwise to increase). If you are unable to adjust the temperature it is likely that the Mixing Valve is defective and needs to be replaced. If you have any other questions our experts are here to help!
